Terms and conditions of equipment hire
- Payment for the hire of equipment from InFactuation Productions must be made in advance via PayPal.
- Payment must be in full before any equipment can leave the premises.
- The customer is responsible for return delivery of the hire package back to InFactuation Productions unless otherwise agreed.
- The period of hire commences at the time when pick up of the package is made.
- AM collection / drop off is 9am-11am. PM collection / drop off is 4pm-5.30pm unless agreed otherwise. Late returns will be charged for an extra days hire.
- Upon hiring, a deposit of a valid passport will be left with InFactuation Productions as security.
- First time customers must bring 2 proofs of ID - a valid passport which will be held for the duration of the hire and 1 credit card / driver’s licence from which a photocopy will be taken.
- The customer must bring two current proof of address - bank statement, bill etc.
- The passport will be returned upon safe return of the hire package in a similar condition to that when sent out to the customer.
- Any faults or missing components should be reported immediately upon receipt of the hire package.
- For Z1 hires, if customers intend to capture their footage through the Z1, they must adhere to the capturing instructions provided by InFactuation Productions. Failure to do so may result in damage to the camera's i.Link circuits.
- The camera is insured within the EU. However an excess of £250 will apply.
- By leaving the building with the hired equipment the customer has agreed that all the required equipment has been included in the kit they are hiring.
- The customer agrees to inform InFactuation Productions of any damage done or any problems with the equipment.
- NO HIRE WITHOUT PASSPORT ON COLLECTION - if camera is being taken abroad a deposit of £500 is required. This will be given back on return of equipment.
- Cancellation policy -
-Cancellations made with at least 24 hours notice or more of the hire start date will not be charged.
-Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice of the hire start date are subject to a 50% charge of the full amount of the total hire.
Terms of cover offered for equipment under your hire agreement

London Video Camera Hire extends its insurance to you the hiring party to cover any accidental damage during the hire period.
- A third party underwrites this policy and as such the following terms and statements must be agreed to or any insurance granted will be void.
- Whilst the equipment is covered for normal use, you must still take care to ensure that every precaution is taken to minimise the risk of the equipment becoming damaged.
- Any claim made under this policy must be made as soon as is possible after any damage has been incurred, and no later than the following day of such damage being incurred.
- This policy only covers the equipment on hire and is limited to accidental damage the policy does not cover miss use for example and not limited to water damage, or use in extreme sports, in or attached to motor vehicles or use of the equipment in what can be deemed a high risk situation.
- To claim under this policy the damaged equipment must be immediately returned to London Video Camera Hire for inspection and repair upon which you the hiring party will be required to complete a claim form to be assessed by the policy underwriter.
- For any claims to be covered under this policy for accidental damage the damaged item along with all other items supplied for the rental must be returned to London Video Camera Hire immediately and in no circumstances any later than the day after the booked hire period, the late return of the equipment will voi d any claim and this insurance.
- This accidental insurance policy will also cover any outstanding hire charges due to the non-availability of equipment whilst being repaired so long as you have met all conditions.
- The excess for the policy is £250. The client will be liable for damages, breakages, loss of equipment and equipment malfunction repair that falls below the total of £250.
- If an insurance claim is made then the client will be liable for the first £250.
